During the long weekend, my parents came to KL. (A bit of my background: I'm a 1st gen Christian, my parents and sisters are not a believer yet). So, I would normally skip church on Sunday if my parents happened to be in KL. But this time round, I felt that I should go to church. (my last weekend here in KL and oso a nudge from the holy spirit that I should be in church)
Was battling and reasoning with the holy spirit for 2 days. Finally on Saturday near midnight, gathered enough courage to ask my parents whether I can attend church while they go on with their fortune telling plan lol. Guess what? Got a green light from them! YAY! Thank God managed to solve transport out very soon with the help of my huddle leader :3
On Sunday morning, I overheard Wei Ning and Tiff's conversation (normally I would walk away so that I can give ppl some private time hahaha not so kepo lahh HAHAHA)
There's this lady whom initially came to Summit for shopping, was stopped and invited by Wei Ning to join our church service. She came alone, so it would be nice if someone could connect to her. After learning that she is from Sabah, I volunteered to get to keep her accompanied :3
The amazing thing happened from there and then onwards.
Introduced myself to her and get to know her more during prayer time. It was amazing that she opened up to me and shared abt her life to me even though it was our first meeting. She is married to a non-believer and been away from church for the longest time ever. Although her husband is not a believer yet, he is quite open to praying to God and visiting church services. In addition, she has been praying for his salvation. Get to prayed for her and cheer her on.
Throughout the service, she was expressing her gratefulness and praising on how God orchestrated all things that she so happened to be in Summit instead of the usual shopping mall that she goes to. She believes that this is not by coincidence but by God's will :) She is pleased to know that there will soon be a bilingual service which would be able to cater to hers and her husband's language preferences. She said that she is all excited and looking forward to invite her husband to church when our bilingual service is launched. Thank God for this precious life! All glory to God! Looking forward to so much more that God has installed in her life!
Saying yes and be obedient to God will leads to amazing encounter. You may not know how much your response to God will impact another person's life. But trust God, let Him use you as a vessel to accomplish His plan :)
